Self Negotiation is about identifying your blind spots
Every one has got not one but many blind spots. If you have a blind spot and there is a beautiful painting in that spot, no matter how well I describe the painting to you and no matter how you think you have understood the painting, you have not really understood it, until you have seen it. Identifying a blind spot, seeing a painting for the first time about which they have been talking a lot for a long time (and think they knew all about it), is often a shocking experience to most people.
The most common blind spot is refusing to acknowledge that one has and would have blind spots.

Self Negotiation is NOT Self Control
Traditional Pop psychology teaches you that you need to suppress or cancel your negative thoughts. This is the opposite of what I help you do in Self Negotiation. (See the page in NLP Wikipedia)
Self Negotiation is NOT pumping yourself up
Self Negotiation is about tracing your sources of energy and tap into them. You must be necessarily having any resource that you need. There must be some way in which you can tap into a resource. Self Negotiation is a process of identifying these ways tap into deeper, inner sources of energy. I call these ways in which you can tap into your inner resources as channels. You can switch channels just like switching a television channel. You may switch from a television programme that makes you feel bad and gloomy to something that makes you feel cheery and energized.
Self Negotiation is about your talents
You must be having some gift. The 'trick' is to know what gift you possess deep within. You can draw from within your own unique talents and strengths and work around your weaknesses, until you achieve excellence.
All parts of you have a positive intention
By negotiating with your parts in many ways, and making all of them work in harmony together, you can realize your goals. As a final step in the coaching process leverage is given in the form of Provocation or Pleasure Pain principle (especially Dickens Pattern) to help you make the change.
Every problem is a state problem
Every problem you face is a state of mind issue. And here is the most interesting fact about your state of mind. You can always alter the structure of your experience to alter the state you are in. There are many ways to achieve this.
